My Photo CV
He comes from the Plzeň Region, but has been living in Dobřichovice for many years and works mainly in Prague. He has been involved in photography since childhood – starting with traditional black-and-white photography and developing film and photos at home, he gradually made the complete transition to digital photography, whilst experimenting with a range of less conventional techniques for working with light and movement. He has been exhibiting publicly since 2013; to date, he has organised 12 solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic and taken part in several group exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad (USA, France, Greece, UK, China).
His work lies primarily on the borderline between abstraction and a specifically artistic interpretation of reality; he seeks to reveal what is often not visible at first glance. His work is characterised by the use of long exposures (sometimes in the infrared part of the spectrum), minimalist composition and a keen eye for detail; he often returns to places he has photographed before, where he seeks new ways of depicting them and new connections to current reality.
